About Bees Knees Marquees
Bees Knees Marquees is an independent family business in Southend-on-Sea providing event equipment and portable toilet hire across Essex. Its toilet-hire offer covers self-contained standard and deluxe units for parties and events, alongside dedicated construction-site toilets with regular servicing. The range also includes luxury toilet trailers, urinals, disabled-access units and baby-change facilities, giving organisers practical options for different settings. Beyond toilets, the business supplies marquees in several widths, including high-peaked Oriental or pagoda styles and clearspan marquees. Customers can also hire flooring, tables, chairs, linen, glassware, bars, dance floors, party lighting, heating and white bouncy castles. The company presents itself as a one-stop event-hire provider, supporting gatherings from small private celebrations to larger occasions for 250 people or more. Its published event experience includes weddings, private parties, proms, festivals, sports events, country shows, council events and other public occasions. The portable toilet range is designed for event use, with standard and deluxe specifications, male, female and gender-neutral options, and units that are self-contained rather than dependent on mains drainage, water or electricity. For added comfort, deluxe toilets include a foot-operated sink and automatic soap dispenser, while event units are supplied clean with lighting, mirrors, bins and toilet rolls. Dedicated construction toilets are kept separate from the event fleet and are described as being serviced weekly, making the service relevant to both event organisers and building-site projects.
